Trying to find Mollie Croker or relatives of Mollie. Mollie was born 9/4/1922 in Taunton to Violet Croker( Violet was unmarried). Whilst researching my Family Tree have found out that Mollie is my fathers half sister. His name is David Woodland and he was born in 1930. To find he has a half sister at 77 came as a bit of a shock.. they did know each other as kids but nobody told them the relationship. Violet married Charles Woodland but she died in 1944 aged 39 in Lewisham, she and her daughter Barbara were killed by a V2 rocket. David was only 14, he never saw Mollie again.Mollie got married in 1943 to Lewis Nichol, he was in the RAF and she in the WAAF. Any news would be gratefully received as you can image. |
