Member Since: January 2006 Posts: 5 Send Message	Help! Have done all I can to find about any ancestors. Have got stuck on John Critchell born about 1821 in Dorset. Lived in Upwey in 1841 census, with wife Ann(e) 9 nee Tizard born 1816. Their children were:- Unity ( my grt grt grandmother) b 1838 in Upwey, Sarah b 1841 Upwey and George b1844. In the 1861 census they lived in Radipole and had a "lodger" staying with them called Mary Tizard b 1798.(On the census it says she's a fundholder. Does anyone know anything about John's parents,grandparentsetc or can anyone tell me where I should look now the records no longer can help me? I would really appreciate any information or advice. Cheers

	this may be of interest - by the way if you look on the Mormon LDS site it seems that Dorset is inhabited totally by Critchels!!! Member Since: January 2006 Posts: 5 Send Message	Thanks Ann, It would appear John married twice.. In an 1861 census his dob was given as1818 so most likely him but am surprised to know he remarried! It's the first I've heard of it! Cheers! Ros
