Trying to find connections to: A. COX, (possibly married name) residing "RORA", ILSINGTON, DEVON, in 1913. The death certificate of my Great Grandfather, James Edwin STONEMAN, in 1913, says his cousin "A. COX" was present at his death, & was the informant; & that A. COX's residence was "Rora" Ilsington. This is a cousin that I did not know about. Does it ring any bells with anyone? My Great Grandfather was born 1872, so one would imagine his cousin was born at a similar time. My Great Grandfather died St Thomas district, Exeter, but was born St Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands. Anyone out there with this A. COX living "Rora" Ilsington, Devon, in 1913 in their tree? He/she could have been in his/her early 40s in 1913 as my Great Grandfather was I guess? These cousins shared either the grandparents William STONEMAN (Wine Merchants Labourer - previously male servant), from/b. Batcombe, Dorset abt 1801, who married Mary Ann HODGE/HOIDGE (b. Milton Abbott, Devon, 1808) in St Helier, Jersey, on 9 November 1831. OR: they shared the grandparents Thomas LEIGH (shipwright) b. abt 1802, St Brelade, Jersey, who married Ann Jeanne DU CHEMIN (b. before 2 March 1806) from St Martin, Jersey, on 9 January 1834, St Brelade, Jersey.
