I am trying to find living family of Beatrice Cowdrey, my Grandmothers sister, who married Robert Gammon, a widower in 1927 at Rochdale Register office. His occupation was Labourer in Woollen Mill and he lived at 19 Bright St. Rochdale.
She was a wool piecer, and lived at 42 Rhodes St. Rochdale at the time of their marriage.She had two children, Gladys in 1928 and Hilda in 1934.(Gladys married name may have been Mills, and she possibly died in Llanelli in 1995, remains in Dearnley cemetery near Rochdale) Beatrice came from a large family and I have all details, but as I didn't know my gran or any of her side of the family, I am interested in their life in Rochdale in the 20th century, and hope someone may be able to clear up a couple of family mysteries.
