COPELAND/GRANT Trying to find death of my gt grandmother MARY HANNAH COPELAND she married George Nelson Grant in 1868, in Derby, she may have died after 1881 and possibly before 1889, when her daughter Mabel was sent as an orphan to Canada, from Mrs Blaikies Home in Edinbuegh. Mabel was NOT an orphan her sister Effie Grant arranged transport to Canada through the Home, father George Nelson Grant was then living in Birmingham, Effie had previously been living with her grandmother Euphemia (now remarried to James Martin) it is assumed that Mary Hannah may have died, but when & where, have so far been unable to trace her death either under Copeland or Grant, can anyone help?
