trying to find members of my husbands family from Birmingham his grandmother may had several brothers snd sisters albert harold elsie ivy ernest arthur (drowned aged 19) edith (died aged 2) nellie
thier father albert was convicted of being a bigamist in the early 1920`s dont have much else on the family however they all lived around the hockley area the family home was next to the big green clock
any help would be appreciated

Apparently Harold had a son called Harold
May had a sister called Agnes who lived at wall street I have two addresses but not sure who lived at either Hignall park rd and newhall hill
any info would be greatly appreciated as may passed away 2006 grandad last week and the two elderly sisters have no idea of where they are let alone who they are now aged 90+ but they dont even have a photo that would help

Apparently none of them had middle names,Albert was the eldest then Arthur ,Nellie,Alfred,Minny(or Milly) Harold then Elsie 13/05/1917 May was 18/01/1992 and Ivy Feb 3 1923

Nellie apparently had several children named Winny Bertie (Albert) Leslie Dennis Nellie(married Gordon) Doreen Geoffrey and Bobbie (Robert)
apparently my husbands grandmother didnt discus the family much

If you get a copy of the marriage cert it will tell you their father's name and occupation, then we can find out where Albert and Mary Ann come from

Thank you Barbara. I now have the marriage certificate of Mary Anne Winters and Albert Cook
Albert`s father was called Walter (jeweller) Mary`s father was Thomas(chimney sweep)
the witnesses on the cert were William Winters and Isabella Cook
date of marriage Oct 26th 1902 St Marks Chuch Birmingham
address for both at time of marriage is Albert 3BK 156 Spring Hill and Mary 3BK 152 Spring Hill

Albert was 21 and Mary was 20.
you have helped a lot so grateful would still be at first hurdle left to my own devises.
bit cheeky I know but have you any idea who Isabella Cook (witness on marriage cert) was.
