William J Cook born c 1821 Chipping Ongar married Rachel Langley Styles 1846 London. They returned to Chipping Ongar and had family: Nathan b.c1848; Maria born c1849; Charles b.c1855; John b.c1857. William was a Wheelwright. Rachel, Nathan and John were still in Ongar inthe 1871 census although William had died. Charles was a Telegraph Messenger in London Maria was a servant in High Laver. in 1881 Rachel was living in London. Nathan was married to Catherine and was a coachbuilder in Chipping Ongar John was married to Emma. John was a newsagent in Bermondsey. Does anyone know what became of the children of the above families? |
