On behalf of my brother-in-law, trying to find relatives of: GORDON FREDERICK COOK, b. Toronto, Ontario, Canada 7 Dec 1922 to FREDERICK JAMES COOK and DAISY PEARL HALL (COOK). [would put their birth dates no later than ca. 1900] Apparently the family returned to the Brighton area shortly after Gordon's birth, but it is not clear if there was family in the area or not. Gordon served in the Royal Navy during WWII on the RMS Royal Oak and later transferred to the Canadian army. His paternal grandparents were: JAMES COOK and MARY COOK(E). HIs maternal grandparents were: DAVID HALL and ANNE ARNOLD PEDLAR. Anyone with information on this family would be much appreciated. |
