He married a Mary Kirkman and they travelled to Australia in 1856, they had 10 children, 1) Mary (b.1853 d1856) 2) James (b.1855 d.1856) 3) Robert (b1857 d.1910) 4) John (b1859) 5) William (b1861 d,1939) 6) Elizabeth (b.1863) 7) Susannah (b.1865) 8) George (b.1867) 9) Alfred (b.1869 d.1939) 10) Mary (b.1872 d.1872) My family line comes from Alfred, would be very keen to hear from anyone with any connections.
