I wonder if anyone out there could help me. This is my first visit to these boards.
I am trying to find out a bit more about John Coles (c1879) & Martha Parker (1888). They are both from the Whitehaven district area in Cumbria and I beleive they were married (not sure on marriage date).
The Coles family were possibly from Devon, although I beleive John was born in Cumbria.
If anyone has any information about these 2 people and their families (parents, siblings, children etc...) I would be very grateful to hear from you.

1911 shows two Martha Parker, old enough to marry, living in Whitehaven:-

The only Martha L. Parker I could find is this one, which matches the (18yr. old Martha from 1911 census):-

Next thing to do is to buy the marriage cert. to find out the names and occupation's of their fathers, which will help find or confirm findings in the census records.

There is this Martha born 1888 in Whitehaven:-

but she is not Martha L Parker ?
