Charles was born in Manor Hamilton, Ireland and served as a captain in the Second West Indies Regiment. His father, John Baptist O'Reilly Coleman was also a soldier. His sister Charlotte married a Clinch, possibly also a military man?

Charles was widowed around 1890 and married a May Dent (nee Froud/e) in 1895. They had 7 children born from 1895-1907. These were Darent, Charles, Charlotte, Ann, Catherine, John and Walter.

Most of the children had BLAKE as a second name.

I believe the family lived for a while in Sydenham. I also believe that two of the sons were killed - probably some time in the 1950s - while working in Hong Kong or Singapore.

Please can anyone help? Can't find a lead on any of these children and I'm anxious to trace their descendents
