I am trying to find out about my great grandparents. James and Matilda Clarke were both born in Antrim, Northern Ireland in 1849. I believe they worked for a time in Ballymena and had two daughters in Belfast (Mary and Jemima) before moving to Bridport, Dorset where they lived and worked for the rest of their lives. They had 6 more children: Matilda, Eliza (my grandmother who married George Hussey. She was often called May by those who knew her)Agnes, James, Isabella and Nellie.
