The only information I've found is the 1981 census.
Shurley is from Walsall age 55
Sarah is from Grendon age 53

Well Neil, have you read through at all? I know it can be difficult sorting through ...........

I found and posted Shurley's marriage; now Flick has found it again.

A couple of people have posted his baptism, and a load of different censuses back to 1851 have been posted.

Nobody seems to have been able to find him in the 1841 so far.


To be sure that the baptism is the right one, you need the marriage certificate to see whether the fathers' names match.
