Would anyone have access to the 1851 Census for Kent. My Great Grandfather was ALFRED JAMES CHAPMAN born in Queenborough 1842 married to Mildred (NEE UNKOWN) from Canterbury. They had a total of 11 children, Sarah Ann (my grandmother) and Alfred were born in Chatham. They then moved to SOUTH SHIELDS, Durham where Rose, John, Frederick, William, George, Ernest, John, Albert and Lawrence were born. Mildred was widowed in 1893. Are there any Chapmans who would be a descendant of their sons still around in South Shields Would welcome any info that may help me trace them further [email protected] |
