I am trying to find my maternal grandmothers family. She was Clara Chapman born in Knaresborough in 1901. She had my mother Betty in 1926 (father unknown) and married Alfred Catton of Morley in 1926. They had 2 children together Peter and Winifred. (I dont know the wherabouts of Winnie ) I know she left Yorkshire during the War and went to live in London. The children received presents for a time but they soon stopped. She was later declared dead as Alfred married again but I have no knowledge of Claras family except that her father name may have been James and they were farmers. Any one help? |
