JOSEPH HENRY CHAPMAN / WILLIAM CHAPMAN I am trying to trace the place of birth of Joseph Henry Chapman (born c 1878, father was William Chapman, a coachman). I know Joseph Henry Chapman married Rosina Elizabeth Turtle - at that time he was a labourer in a railway factory (probably in Swindon). In 1901 Joseph and Rosina lived at Haydon Wick, Wiltshire and they later had six children: William Joseph b 1908, Edward Thomas and George (twins) b 1910, Violet, Lily and Amelia Rose. |
