Member Since: April 2006 Posts: 6 Send Message	Charles Lewis Rutter CHAPMAN b 1870? possibly NZ - mother Ellen Rutter. Cannot find a birth certificate for Charles. Ellen Rutter married George P Chapman in 1864 in Sydney and they had a daughter Ellen born Australia in 1865 which would suggest that they went to NZ from Australia sometime between 1865 and 1868.. How can I find any shipping records that would confirm this. Charles had a sister Harriett Ida who was born in Wellington NZ in 1868 who eventually settled in Sydney and married Samuel Bradney. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
