I am trying to find my grandfathers relatives. His name was Bernard Chapman born around 1905. Lived in Islington London. Parents died when he was young and he and his brother were split up. Brother was bought up by an Aunt (sister to his mother). Dont know name of brother. Grandfather married Claire Barsby. They moved around a lot during the second world war. lived in southampton during wartime he worked for currys as an accounts/sales manager. Smoked a pipe? Just would never talk about his childhood so have hardly any clues. His father poss drowned in the Thames. Mother in flu epidemic of 1912. karen |
