Hi Julie, my father frederick george chapman left stowmarket in the 1920s and came to live in a little village in north yorkshire called follifoot, where he worked as a farmer/mechanic, he had brothers and sisters who stayed in suffolk, i met his brother jack/john during the war when he was in the raf stationed near york, my dad was born about 1905 and died in 1973. I am derek and will be 72 on wednesday, i live in harrogate n yorks my sister sheila is 75 and lives in kent. My daughter debbie has much more info than me, if we are related maybe you could converse with her, hope this helps, Derek. |
