Hi
I am trying without sucess to find the burial of my husbands Gt Grandfather Daniel Parker Chapman, he died on 21/02/1952 in Kings Lynn Norfolk..I have called the local cemetery and been to local church grave yards but no success..
Could some kind person check the NBI for him, I would be very grateful..

Thank you for your help Joan..
We have tried every cemetery and crematorium in Kings Lynn and surrounding area, even his birth place but still can't find him!! I have his address in Kings Lynn...When I am next in Norfolk I will go to the records office in Norwich and see if they had a paper for 1952 and see if he had an obit.. I'm hoping he has as he was a retired Superintendent of Police..

Thanks again
Jules x

Hi,
Was he by anychance RC or Jewish or some other, if so he may be buried in a cemetery of his religion, if this is the case he would not be listed on any council site.
Regards Joan.

Thank you Annie for looking for me...
Joan he was C of E...My father in law doesn't know where he would be either as he was away with the RAF at the time and never attended his funeral, but he says that he is sure that he is buried some where in Kings Lynn!!
I will google for the number of the library and see if they are able to help...It doesn't help living in Edinburgh as they only have Scottish records here lol xx
