CHANDLER ... Henry c1773 ? c1776 father of Thomas

I have a bit of a conundrum ... Seeking to clarify the name of Thomas Chandler's c1807 father.

Know it is a Henry c1773 or c1776 (either / both married to a Mary) but two sons of George Chandler / Martha Ayling (thomas' grandparents) both had a son called Henry and either could be Thomas' father ?!

The two sons of George Chandler / Martha Ayling are ...
1. Thomas Chandler c1736 (name of wife unknown).
... believe their son Henry born c1776 in Lurgashall

*2. Henry Chandler c1737 married to Ann Kemp c1739 (from Heyshott) ... believe their son Henry c1773 was born in Heyshott

My line descends from Thomas' daughter Emily Chandler 1834.

Found a few members with these threads but fairly split 50 / 50 on the parentage issue and none can clarify how they arrived at the linkage that they have.

Hope somebody out there can help --Cecilia--
