Looking for relatives of Ellen Catterall born ca 1828 Preston, Lancashire married Isaac Alker in 1850, children William (1851) (ggrandfather), Thomas (1857), Emma (1861). Children all born Preston. Address in 1861 census, Lancaster Rd occupied in 1871 by George Catterall (butcher) - was this a brother or other relative.

Hello! My mother's maiden name was Catterall - She was Esther, born in 1908 in Liverpool. I know her mother was Elizabeth. She was the youngest of twelve, not all of whom survived, but I remember siblings, Alice, Peter, Mag, Mary Emma. As far as I know, they were all born in Liverpool. Kind regards.
