Hi I am trying to find the following family members WILLIAM CARTER [born 1924] married to ALMA CARTER [nee BROOKS][ born apr may or jun 1931] Married 02.09.50 at Salford Registry Office. William was a painter sprayer [coach sprayer] and Alma was a canteen assistant. ALICE CARTER ? FLORENCE CARTER ? WILLIAM CARTER ? GEORGE CARTER ? I BELEIVE THESE ARE ALL ALMAS SIBLINGS. TERENCE EDWARD CARTER son of William and Alma born 23.02.51 in Hope Hospital and parents lived at 1 Skillingthorpe Street Pendleton. Terence has married a lady called Rosemary and they have a set of twins. I also know that William Carter died 15 years ago. I am the daughter of ALMA CARTER and she gave me up for adoption in 1948, at that time she was living at 28 Robert Hall Street Saford. I have found out that Alma lived with her parents [John and Florence]and grandmother,[Alice Brooks] This was their home until 1970. Alice died1956 and John died 1963. After 1970 the house was empty then eventually demolished. At the moment their last known address was 1 SKILLINGTHORPE STREET PENDLETON.
