Hi My great grandmother was called Mary Cassidy Nee Carr born circa 1860.Mary was married to William Cassidy a cattledealer . She had ten children that i know of , one being my grandfather John (Johnny ) Cassidy ,born in 1882 she was born in Donegal Ireland (Fanad Head).I would like any info please,as i have very little. They lived in Rossville Street and Windsor Terrace Derry.I think Mary had a sister called Annie Carr, who at one time owned a fruit and veg shop on William Street Derry. The Cassidy's at one time owned a farm at Pennyburn Derry, after William died the farm was sold to the bishop of Derry and Pennyburn school was built on the land, they also owned a butcher's shop where they sold meat from the farm. Thankyou for any help .
