Hi, I am looking for Thomas Carr, born around 1887, in Durham (I think) he had at least 2 brothers Robert born 1889 and John. His parents were Robert Carr born in 1863, died 17 May 1925 and Mary Parker, born 1865, died 1 February 1930 (can't find their marriage). Thomas married Caroline Cunningham on 31 December 1909 , in the district of Lumphinnans, Fife. They had 2 children James in 1912 and Elizabeth (my grandmother) in January 1914. He was a regular soldier in the Royal Scotts, based in Edinburgh until the First World War, went he was killed in Belgium/France in 1915 or 1916. His brother Robert was also married on 31 December 1909, he married Cissy Kirk. If anyone could help me I would be grateful. Hazel |
