My great grandmother was Alice Eliza Carr she was born in Hornsey London in c1865. She married William Clayton in c1889 in Hackney.
They had five children, William, Charles, Albert, Edna and my Grandmother Doris Mabel. They were living in POtter Newton Leeds at the time of my Grandmothers birth, 1897 and then moved to Manchester at some stage before the 1901 census. Their address in Manchester was 12 Park Avenue Moss side. Mt G Grandfathers occ was listed as a shirt makers assistant.

Just received some further info as follows. Her parents were george born in Middlesex (Carpenter) in c 1844. Mother Eliza Ann born Herts c 1846 and a sister Edith Ann Born Islington c 1870

I would love any further help with this as I can not find anything else about them from 1901.
Please contact me if we could possibly have a link or any suggestions to move forward would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

Karen
