Member Since: January 2005 Posts: 1 Send Message	MARY ELLEN CARR - Born 1884 Died 27.12.1928 Does anyone have any information at all on this lady (she was my great-grandmother) She lived in the Salford area but I'm not sure where she came from initially. Her father was called JOHN CARR. Mary Ellen was possibly adopted at some stage and may have had the surname RODGERS/ROGERS pre CARR. She married John Hallas in 1902 - He was born in Oldham and moved to Salford and then they both moved to Oldham. They had several children - Elizabeth, Annie, Alice, Mary, William, Frederick.
