Grant Report 18 Feb 2004 12:49

Hi, I am researching my Carmichaels from Tarbert, Loch Fyne, Argyll, Scotland. I am interested in anyone who might be researching in this area as well. I am researching the family and descendants of Angus Carmichael and his wife Euphemia McLellan. Angus(1823-1891) married Euphemia(Effy) McLellan on the 2nd September, 1854, at Tarbert, Loch Fyne, Argyll. Angus was a Fisherman. He and his wife had a family of 8 children. These were born between 1852 or 1854-1868. The names of the children were Mary, Elisabeth, Archibald 1856, Malcolm 1858, Effy, 1860, Duncan 1863, Betsy 1866, and Archibald 1868. Both of Angus's sons called Archibald died young. The first died at 9 years old in 1865, and the other died age 19, in December 1891, when he drowned at Pirnmill, Arran. If anyone recognises any of these people please feel free to contact me. Grant Muckart Nairn Scotland
