Hi there, I am researching Carmichaels form Tarbert, Loch Fyne, Argyll, Scotland. One of the many Carmichaels I am researching is Malcolm Carmichael(1827-1899) who married Margaret Blue(1828-abt. 1871) Malcolm married Margaret Blue on the 19 June 1852 at Tarbert, Loch Fyne, Argyll. He was most likely a Fisherman. He had a daughter Elisabeth Carmichael born abt. 1854. Malcolm was the son of Archibald Carmichael(1796-1843) and Elisabeth MacMillan(abt. 1802-1875). Malcolm was the grandson of Malcolm Carmichael(abt. 1780-1874), and Elisabeth Macfarlane(abt.1773-1843).
