Hi...Yes Mary sure its William. He was born in Sudbourne Suffolk,i know his father was John Whayman Bugg

You had his birthplace as Kent in your opening post.

You should be able to find him in 1881. Do you have his marriage cert for his occupation and his father's occupation?

James Bugg 1819 Devon married Frances Whayman 1824 Sudbourne

1881 it says they are the parents of John W Bugg 1875 but i think it has been mistranscribed.

A tree also says John W 1875 was son of James and Francis.

Thanks everyone, sorry i didn't get back to you yesterday. Think its sorted now........William and John Whayman Bugg are brothers (sons of James and Frances Bugg) William is the father of John William Bugg , Therefore John Whayman and John William are uncle and nephew, Please correct me if you think this sounds wrong from the info thats been posted.

The census records seem to show that William was the father of John W Bugg.

Are you descended from him?

This could be his marriage as he was living in Fulham in 1901 along with Annie Burrell.

It was mentioned earlier in the thread about them having a son John born 1882 and that is why we were asking which one was yours.

Here they are in 1901.

John's age is transcribed wrong,image shows him as 45.
