I am trying to trace the family of my maternal grandmother - Florence Buckton believed to have been born in Darlington, around 1900 ish. Buckton may have been her married name as she had two daughters with that surname - Edna and Florence, or she may have been unmarried. Around 930 she married Thomas Batty in Hull and already had three more children with him registered as their father.
