Joseph Buckley dob 1878 place Crewe mother Sara a widow on the 1881 census Joseph srved in the Loyal North Lancs Regiment and was killed at the first battle of Ypres. 31-10-1914

Hi there Joan, I am not sure if we have corresponded before but we sem to have the same Joseph T. Buckley in our family tree, he was my grangfathers older brother, there was also George W Buckley and there mother was a widow called Sarah but cannot find her husbands name? Regards jenny Coates (nee Buckley)

the death of Joseph BUCKLEY age 28 is registered at Nantwich June quarter of 1880 and Joseph BUCKLEY married a Sarah BATES at St Paul, Crewe registered Sept quarter 1874 (on Freebmd she is Sarah A BATE)
