I am trying to find details any relatives of James Brown Johnstone Buchanan (deceased) (born approx 1927) who was in the Royal Navy and was a Carpenter. His father was also called James and he had a brother called John (deceased). James Senior remarried and had daughters called Jean (deceased), Jenny (deceased), Whilmena (Ina) deceased and Ruby? which made them half sisters to James and John. James Senior possibly was a Minister of a church in Scotland (poss Glasgow) at some time and took the names Brown Johnstone as part of his work with the church and hence James Jr also took the name. He also may have had some dealings with the YMCA. Could anyone who is a relation to please contact me. |
