Member Since: November 2002 Posts: 29 Send Message	I started this thread on the section looking for "BREWIN" but have since looked at a marriage cert and discovered a possible BRUIN.A. they were a witness to a marriage on 15th October 1938 in Stepney at the register office there. The rest is still applicable but where it says BREWIN, please excuse this and think BRUIN if poss. I am trying to find someone that may know a particular story and anything else that was connected with it. There was a Brewin Family that live in Cable Street East LONDON. Mrs Brewin/the mother of the family apparently had a friend called MARGARET, who had two surviving children. Sometime after MARGARET's death in 1946, her two daughters were taken on occasion back to the east end visiting family and friends. I believe that THE BREWINS were one such friend. The all important story is.... Mrs/the mother of the BREWIN family in CABLE STREET, used to wear a pair of earrings and when the two young daughters of MARGARET GREEN/AZOOR/ABIDEEN visited her she told them "see these earrings girls, they were your mothers" Someone must know who this A.BRUIN is, he/she witnessed my grandparents marriage I NEED to find someone from that family that can tell me anything about it.
