I would welcome any information about my grandfather - Albert? BROWN. He lived in Jersey, Channel Islands and ran a newsagents shop in Roseville Street, St. Helier until his death in c1954. We (my Dad, Mum, brother and myself) lived with him there; but I was only 2 when he died. I believe he was born in India (father was in British Army). He had two sons Owen (my father) and Albert. who became estranged after my grandfather's death. He was married twice. My father's mother died when he was 12; I do not know anything about her. His step mother was called Daisy. I also do not know anything else about her. Jane Ross |
