HUGH (SONNY) WILLIAMSON Hi, Can anyone help me find the family of my mother`s brother. He was born in Greenock Scotland in about 1920ish. His name originally HUGH BROWN and he was adopted by a family called WILLIAMSON. His mother was CHARLOTTE JANE(jeanie ) BROWN. She married Robert SCOTT in1923 in Greenock and went on to have a large family. My mother was also Charlotte jane Brown and was adopted in 1921. HUGH WILLIAMSON married and lived in DERBY, I believe he had two children. His mother lived with them for the last year of her life and died in 1985. He died sometime after that. I would dearly love to fill in some of the missing pieces for my mother.I traced her last remaining brother Deacon on the day of his funeral which was a bit sad. Looking forward to hearing from anyone who thinks they can help. Cheers Lily Holland |
