I am looking for information on the family of James Brown who was born in Liverpool around 1848. I believe his father was John Brown. James married Ann(e) maiden name was Harris) and they had 12 children that I know of: John 1871 Annie 1873 Elizabeth 1874 Mary 1876 Winifred 1878 Lucy 1880 James 1882 Augustine 1884 Margaret 1886 Agnes (my grand-m) 1888 Joseph 1890 William 1897 In the 1891 census Ann is shown as being born in Liverpool, but in the 1901 census is shown as coming from Ireland. Her father was Owen Harris. Any help in trying to find out more about my Brown ancestors would be appreciated. |
