After searching my fathers family. I have discovered that he had a sister that we did not know about. And it would seem neither did my father, as she was never heard of in our family. So I am looking for a Violet Broom born 1917 which I know would mean she would be 90 if she was still alive. I beleive that she was born in Malmesbury area. And her mother was Caroline Sly ( originally from Brinkworth) It may state that her father was Tom Broom. Though Caroline and Tom divorced. She may have taken Carolines second husband' name which was Vincent, as they went on to have Arthur. Now Violet may of stayed with her mother and the other 2 children went with Tom being older, but they ended up in care. and lost track of all members of the family. If any one does know of Violet or her kinfolk please get in touch there are so many Questions left unanswered. thanks> still looking. if anyone has anythingnew, thank you. |
