Alice and Thomas Brooks 1800's

Trying to find Alice and Thomas Brooks Born England around 1800's they emgirated to Australia and had a daughter name Sarah Jane Brooks born 1844 - sydney (she was the only child).Thomas was a seaman captian on the ship who travelled on the ship for work he may have had a nickname or name changed to James.Alice died when Sarah was a toddler she never knew her mum.Thomas put Sarah into another family he paid them and they raised her in her childhood years.Thomas and Alice came from England possibly they may have had relatives still living in England at the time they lived in australia.I believe their tree is still growing. Sarah married to John Gibbons in 1862 sydney they had 16 children only 10 was living. Anyone have any match to this one. |
