Thomas Edwin Brooks was born somewhere in Staffordshire c.1835. My wife's father, Thomas Edwin Brooks was born in Ilkeston, Derbyshire in 1913. He was the only boy, and the last in the family. He had about five sisters. |

Can you confirm the Thomas Edwin Snr's year of birth? Based upon what you have indicated he would have been approx 77/8 when Thomas Edwin Junior was born. Not impossible but unlikely I would have thought. |
