Can anyone help me to find my grandmother two sisters,I do not know their names. My granmother was called Gladys Eveline Brittain born in Lambeth in 1910,She married my grandfather Archibold charles dickens in Feb 1942 in chichester. Her parents names were Frederick Charles Brittain born 1871(chelsea) and Elizabeth Eliza Mattock born 1875(wandsworth),they married in st Marys,Balham Aug 1899.Elizabeth died in 1915 from tuberculosis,I have not found a death cert for Frederick yet,but he was discharged from the army in 1909 with tuberculosis.I have been led to believe that both parents died around the same time and my granmother and her two sisters were placed in a military orphanage in bogner regis(unconfirmed). On her marriage cert to my grandfather a Joyce Brittain Long signed as a witness,is this possibly one of the sisters?I hope there is someone who can help.
