my name is trevor newsome and i am trying to find any relatives of james bristow who was born in bridgnorth shropshire in the 1880s?... he moved to darlington co durham in the 1920s any info feel free to get in touch.. thanks |

My grandfather was William Bristow, he was bn in Bridgnorth, Shropshire in the 1880s. He had several brothers and 2 sisters. The Bristow family owned a pub and an undertakers in the town and some of them were builders and decorators. One of the sisters married into the Faulkner family who owned cargo boats on the canals. William Bristow moved to Bedfordshire and later to London. Is this likely to have any connection to your family? |
