I am trying to find a Robert Bray born around 1805 who married Elizabeth. He lived in st decumans , williton in somerset. Does anyone know who his parents were or where he lived as a child ? |

1851 census records St Decumans as his birthplace as well. It's the parish church of Watchet which is only a couple of miles from Williton. He's living in Long St, Williton parish of St Decumans from 1851 to 1881 and as he's living in Williton in 1841 there's a good chance he's in Long St. I'd say he never ventured far from home. |

is it right that you cannot get a birth certificate for someone who was born before 1837. I have just tried to get one for Robert Bray hoping that this will show his parents. |
