I am trying to trace my ancestry but my information is limited. My father was Stephen Bowen, born around 1917. he married my mother, Edith Notts? in 1938 and left her about 5 years later. He eventually settled down with a lady from Treharris called 'Dolly'? 'Dot'? and moved to Brynmawr in South Wales. They had children - Stephen?, Leslie and Linda. My Grandfather was Thomas Henry Bowen and he ran a garage/bicycle shop in Nelson. He was married to Margaret Ann nee Jones and they had Stephen (my father) John and Ronald. I think my grandfather was brought up by a family called Hill. I would be grateful if someone could help me fill in gaps. |
