I have managed to work back as far as John Booth. He was my great-great-grandfather, born London 1816, worked as a wine cooper. On 25/12/37 he married Mary Ann Dillon (1814-1871), lived at 23 Mincing Lane, City of London. They had eleven children: Mary Ann, Jane Elizabeth, Emma, Jemima, Clara, Ann, John Isaac, Elizabeth Ann, Eliza, Benjamin Brodie and Hanna Louisa. I would really like to find out more about his parents, but have for some strange reason come up against a wall. His aunts and uncles were Rachel (married Hully), Henry (born 1798, died 1877), Hannah (born 1802, died 1875) and Isaac. If anyone out there knows anything, please contact me. Robert Brodie Booth |
