Hi can someone please tell me what this refers to,I have just found the following info on a website and I believe it concerns my many greats grandfather Alexander Bonallie, I have his baptism in Dysart 1820, but it is possible he could have been born in Kirkcaldy the year before and his family moved there. Does the Shields part refer to South Shields if so that would fit in perfect with my family as he did move to the South Shields/Sunderland area.

index to captains registers of LLoyd's of London (Guildhall Library Ms 18567)

Bonallie Alexander b.Kirkcaldy 1819 C19377 Shields 1858
