I am also looking for Bishop-rowes. Esther Bishop-rowe is/was my great aunt. I would be delighted to hear from anyone with knowledge of the Bishop-rowe's |

I have just discovered that my mother's family (ROWE) have a branch that became BISHOP ROWEs when William Rowe (my great Uncle) married Alice Bishop in 1879. William was born in Sleaford Lincolnshire but they moved to Warrington area in the early 1890s. Their eldest son GEORGE HENRY (born 1878 in Lincolnshire / died 1950) married ELIZABETH DAVIES and had at least 10 children. One of them was called Esther (born 1906). Could this be your great aunt? I too would be interested in any info about other Bishop Rowe family members in the Warrington area. |
