Trying to find Birkbeck

I am trying to locate the descendants of Susanne BIRKBECK (b. 1883 Darlington, Yorkshire) who married William Edgar Sayer, my great uncle, and had 2 children - George Dennis SAYER (b. Nov 1914) and Louis SAYER (c. 1915 Buffalo, Nr New York USA). Susie and Edgar emigrated to USA and lived for a while in Jamestown, Nr New York, but separated before his death in 1922. I've no idea what happened to Susie or the children - can anyone help. Not sure if they naturalised as americans or returned to England. I've a feeling one of the children may have died quite young. Look forward to hearing from you. Laurel Sayer Surrey, England

Hello.
I have a record of a Susanna Birkbeck as my Grandfather's sister. She was born on 19/09/1883 at Leasingthorne Co. Durham. This was a small coal mining village just a few miles to the north of Darlington. I have her as marrying a different chap than your great uncle, at Coundon Co. Durham (again just to the north of Darlington) and sometime later they emigrated to the USA. I have her death as 17/08/1965 in USA. I hope this has been of interest to you and if they aren't the same people it must be a notable coincidence. If you wish we could share each others trees. If you agree you might contact me through genesreunited.
Regards. Gerard Birkbeck.
