I am trying to get information on my Great Grandmother's and Great Grandfather's family's. They were Frances (Moore) and Cyril Edward Bilton. Cyril Bilton was the only Bilton we know of that came to Canada in 1906. Frances Moore originated from Filey or Hull when they left and she was about 27 when she was married. We have several documents and information between thier families that have different places within England. I welcome anyone who has any possible information to please contact me. email me at [email protected] |

I go back to approx 1640 with the bilton surname and whilst i am sure there is some connection with what i call the Hull biltons i have been unsuccessful. My ancestors were in the area just to the north of York with only odd ones moving into the area north of hull. With regret therefore I am unable to assist you.I have not used the Genes Reunited site and hence I have only just found your message.Huge changes have taken place in my life and it is only during the last 3 weeks have i returned to researching my family tree. |
