Hi all, Anyone have info on the Bate family in SWANSEA. I have a 'MARGARET BATE' who married into my family 1827 Regards Steve

I am researching the Bate family in Swansea and I think there was more than one Margaret. I will have a look at my info so far and let you know if you're still interested. Who did she marry?

My fathers name was David William Bate, he was the son (one of two) of William - Bate married to Kathleen Murphy. approx 1925-30. David had a brother who's name was Dennis (died at the age 17/18. All i know is that William was born in Wales, and he died 1933/36.
